This is “el Convento” - our home in Jimena de la Frontera, Andalusia. Through this website you will be able to see the many things it has to offer.


Jimena lies in the “Alcornocales” (Cork oak groves) nature reserve, within the province of Cadiz, sitting between the mountains, the Atlantic ocean  and the Mediterranean sea. The house affords great views of the valley and the mountains, and yet is right in the village centre.

Location



In the heart of the “casco antiguo”, the historical centre of the village.


Floor space



the house covers approx. 280 square meters, including the courtyard.

 

The property is on two floors and there are four double bedrooms, one of which is used as a study. The house lays around a traditional Andalusian courtyard with lemon tree, splash pool and well. There are also two bathrooms, two lounges, one spacious dining room, a gourmet kitchen and a shaded independent summer room. All retaining their original charm with antique ceramic tiles, terra cotta floors, oak beams and open fire places.
